CEAG GUB and GUBA IEC Ex d Explosion Protected Junction Boxes

Crouse-Hinds series CEAG GUB and GUBA IEC ATEX enclosures provide Ex d protection in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas.  They are used in threaded rigid conduit systems in hazardous areas to function as a splice box, pull box, or equipment and device enclosure.

Design features

  • Threaded construction throughout permits use in hazardous areas
  • Covers are provided with a neoprene o-ring gasket to meet NEMA 4 / IP67 requirements for a watertight seal
  • GUB enclosures can be factory drilled and tapped to meet IEC requirements for Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas; GUBA enclosures are offered in a wide variety of conduit entry arrangements
  • Internal grounding lug in GUB enclosure provides a means to ground enclosed equipment
